Really nice place to hit for a "long" weekend or while in route to somewhere else. Nice staff, no cable TV yet. Satellite worked well, but again we have latest auto HD Direct TV unit . WiFi worked great. The River is right out your front window, they even have utilities set up for forward facing. The river water is COLD but quite refreshing all the same. Everything worked as it should. Really nice place to hang out and become one with nature. Keep in mind wild horses roam the area at night. So put away what ever you don't want them getting into!

Update 10-10-09

Water is smelly, so bring drinking water with you for coffee and cooking with! Or better yet fill up at your last stop and use your onboard water tank.

Update 5-21-10

A friend asked me why I didn't list the 2 lane road getting here as "rough" and "tight". Okay, so I did miss that! But really not enough to keep me or others away. Yes, a few tight hair-pin turns. However you can see traffic ahead so not an issue in my book. Yes, road has a few pot holes. But again, easy to steer around. Heck I-80 in the SF bay area is worse ;o)

Enjoy

Great park

I would give this 5 stars if they didn't raise the price from $40.00 to $59.00 Ouch. They maybe be pricing themselves out of business. We stayed here once in 2008 and once in 2009. Both times the rate was $40.00 per night. The layout of this park has got to be one of the best my partner and I have ever stayed. Every river front site has an awesome view. Sitting under your awning watching the river flow by without seeing the RV parked to your left and the one parked to your right is set more towards the rear of your rv then right next to your awning is pretty nice. Very peaceful park and quiet park.
