situated on over 150 acres of wooded secluded property, located just 7 miles from Interstate 75 in Middle Georgia. We offer a clothing optional pool area, with heated pool and one large community hot tub in addition to the many private hot tubs that are included with some of our rental cabins. There are new bathroom and shower facilities that are available at the pool, in addition to other bathroom facilities located in the camping areas as well as in several of the other common area facilities. Sleeping cabins that sleep up to four are available for rental, and have proven to be very popular.  We have unlimited primitive tent camping available, in addition to the designated electric tent sites. Common area wash stations are located in the tent areas for your convenience. LumberJack's has a 4000 square foot dance club named "The LumberYard" that is a must see! The LumberYard is used for other functions as well, such as our cash bingo nights, pot luck's, and other events and live entertainment as scheduled.

In addition to the transient rental RV sites we also have long term RV sites available for 6 and 12 month leases. Availability for the long term RV sites is limited, so they are leased on a first come, first serve basis. In addition to the long term RV sites, we also have long term sites available for cabins and park models that are purchased here at LumberJack's.  LumberJack's, together with several reputable manufacturers of park models, developed a cabin and park model sales program that is proving to be a popular option for some of our members. Some of our members use these park models as a second home for weekend get-a-ways from the city, and some have even decided to use them for full-time residency here at LumberJack's.

Another convenience for our members Lumberjack's also offers a fully stocked camp store located near the entrance of the resort. The camp store stocks last minute camping items, beer, soda, wine, bread, chips, and many other food and beverage items. There is also another store named "The Tool Shop" that is located in the LumberYard. The Tool Shop is an adult novelty store offering leather apparel, DVD's, greeting cards, magazines, and many more adult novelty and gift items that make for perfect souvenirs or gifts for those special people who couldn't join you on this visit. The Tool Shop is definitely worth checking out during your visit as there are few others that compare with the tremendous selection and guaranteed best value for the products offered

July 4th Blowout Celebration......WOW!!!!!!!

My partner and I just visited Lumberjacks for the July 4th celebration....WOW!!! The fireworks were awesome and the party only got better each day. This is a campground that we will visit on a regular bases. Let me begin at the beginning. Upon entering the campground, we stopped at the "store" to register and while there we enjoyed the front porch relaxing in a rocking chair and watching the hummingbirds as they visited the several feeders. Also, we immediately noticed the parklike setting surrounding the campground...ponds, flowers, birds, ducks, peacock and other wildlife.....awesome views. The designated camp sites (rv, cabins and tents) were conveniently located throughout the park and all within walking distance to the pool. While enjoying our days by the pool, we were just steps from a cafe which provided breakfast and lunch not to mention our favorite drinks. Included in the pool area is an active hot tub with many "benefits" as well as a campfire area which is surrounded by fellow campers at night just longing for a glance at the night time scenery/stars. Oh, did I mention "The Lumberyard". Men from the local towns, major cities and surrounding states visit this establishment to enjoy one of the best sound and light systems I have ever seen or heard and the men.......baby oh baby!!! After having a drink, enjoying a show, dancing, visiting the "Tool Shop" and playing pool we went to visit the "sugar shack". The sugar shack is located within a wooded area that is visited by a unique crown of hot men looking to meet other hot men. The quote now is "What happens at Lumberjacks stays at Lumberjacks"!!!

lousy campground and management there are much better places in the south to go

this place has the most horrible management of any campground that i have ever seen. and ive seen lots of campgrounds in my day. if i have left john one message ive left him 50 and do you think he has returned one phone call. ABSOLUTELY NOT. so you know if the management is horrible the staff and the rest of the place is going to reflect that person. you could not give me a free week and get me to go to this place. there are WAY too many gay campgrounds in the south especially in florida to be treated with such disregard that they have for their guests.

Simply one of the BEST GAY CAMPGROUNDS!

In one sentence the best way to describe Lumberjack's is; "One of the best gay campgrounds in the country that should be included on the itinerary of places to see for every gay or lesbian camper traveling through Georgia." Lumberjack's is one of the most beautiful campgrounds my partner and I have ever visited. This is a fairly new campground in Georgia that has obviously had a substancial investment and alot of hard work put into making it what it is today. We met alot of new campers at Lumberjack's and have stayed in touch with many of them after our initial trip there. Lumberjack's has a great pool area with hot tub and poolside bar. Their nightclub, The Lumberyard is unbelievable for rural Georgia. Then, since our previous visit a couple of years ago they have added the cafe, which by the way the food was excellent. There always seems to be plenty to keep you occupied. We always look forward to our visits to Lumberjack's because this is one place that we know we will have a good time and we would certainly recommend this campground to both our friends and other campers that are looking for a new campground that promises a great camping experience. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

Distant Owners

I am only recommending this campground because the fulltime residents are wonderful people, they make this campground...the owners need to understand that fact.

This campground has such potential, however the owners seem to always fall short of the goal...They dont seem to understand that they are in a Hospitality business and should act accordingly. They have no interest in communicating with their Fulltime or Weekend Guests. The only time i have ever seen them really try to get the park in shape, is if they have a big holiday weekend or if the owners parents "investors" are going to be onsite. Grass is not cut consistantly, and i have seen it at knee height.

All of the "Roads" if you can call them that, are basically a riverbed for the next rain storm...I cant imagine anyone wanting to park their car in 1 foot deep wet soft Clay just for the thrill of buying overpriced weak drinks...I feel very bad for the Permanent site people that have made a vested interest in this campground, they get to watch their Golf carts fall apart because the rutts in the road are like the surface of the moon...They get to pay for a poor quality slab that isnt even level from what i have been able to see...New residence have shown up for their new perm site to find they have no sewer ready and make shift water...

Its all very sad, the first thing i would do is invest in a road surface that is Stone mixed with Tar, that will keep the mud down...Then maybe God forbid, stop by the pool when its busy and mingle a bit with the people that support you...Im sure many of your guests might have some inexpensive and helpfull ideas to make this a place we can all be proud of...

Now, that being said, the people that do live here are some of the nicest people i have ever come across at GLBT campgrounds, they all seem to have great ideas and would be happy to assist with making Lumberjacks a nicer place to live....are you listening "John"?...Oh wait, you probably cant hear from inside your trailer...

The place to be

My partner and I just spent a few days at Lumber Jacks and already feel like a part of their family. We met and made friends with several of the permanent and weekend campers. We hope to get back before the end of the summer for a longer stay For those wanting to play around ask them about the "Sugar Shack"
