The Furnance Creek Campground is one of many areas available to RV'ers within Death Valley National Park.  It offers dry camping only.  Full hookup sites are available at other sites/campgrounds within the park.

Death Valley National Park offers several sites for RV, car and tent camping.  The Furnance Creek Campground offers dry camping (no hookups) for car, tent and RV'ers.  The smaller sites offer some trees/shade mostly for car/tent campers - the larger RV sites offer little shade.  The campground has bathrooms (with flush toilets), sinks and running water at several spigots.  There is a dump station with potable water located within the campground.  You can fill up your RV's water tank.  Cell service doesn't exist, but coin phones are available within the campground.  LP gas is available at the nearby Chevron gas station.

The campground is within walking distance to the park's Visitor Center and the privately owned Furnance Creek Ranch (FCR).  The FCR offers motel style rooms, two restaurants & a bar, a small general store, pay phones and WiFi is available.  The FCR does offer a few full hookup sites -- but they are not located in the best area.  A post office and borax museum is also located on the FCR.  Showers and a heated pool are available at the FCR for a nominal fee ($5 pp per day as of 3/2010).
