Just outside town, but still close enough.
Great views from campsite, very friendly staff, just outside town but close enough to not be a big deal. Quiet and sereen atmosphere. Close to Arches National Park. We had a very pleasant lunch at "Eddie McStiffs" in town, and saw several "family" members dining there also. On a side note, We had a tire failure prior to camping here, and stopped at "Chip's Grand Tire and Car Care" to have our tire repaired. Chip's was very helpful, prompt and courteous + their prices were very reasonable for a tourist trap type of town. We are going back to Moab again, and will stay here at Riverside again.

NO dump station, so use your own facilities sparingly. Clean restroom/shower onsite (1) sites are not paved, it's just a big lawn.(it rained the last night we stayed, and I needed my 4 wheel drive to get out)Also, on that note, the grass is somewhat uneven, and it can be difficult to level your rig/trailer. It appears it used to be quite nice in it's heyday, but has been neglected. The new bathrooms are adequate, but I can see them becoming overwhelmed if it gets crowded. The entrance is easy to miss, and GPS/Navigation sent us astray. (look for the green metal gate) The 30Amp worked fine, the water was a bit far away, so I needed my long hose. The Eagle closed in town, but the Rainbow Cattle Co. is still going strong. 3R ranch has re-opened, and is under new ownership.
