Mountainside, in southern New Hampshire is new to gay campground scene.
Mountainside is an all male, gay campground - a work in progress. Owners of 100 acre horse farm with spectacular mountain views, have opened their place to weekend campers and some seasonal campers. No real hook-ups, but they will run you an electric cord if you like. Mostly for tenters but they did accommodate us and 2 other RVs for the 4th of July weekend, in addition to the seasonals. Nice bathrooms and showers; a guest house is also available as well as a bunk house. Plans seem to be to develop the campground slowly. This is a welcome addition for New England gay campers, as there are few other all gay campgrounds available nearby. Definitely call ahead.
