Faywood Hot Springs, a rustic natural geothermal resort in southwestern New Mexico.
A rustic natural geothermal resort in southwestern New Mexico, has many outdoor public and private soaking pools for those who wish to partake of its healthful and rejuvenating mineral water baths. There are separate clothing-required, clothing-optional (naturist), private and group bathing areas. There are tent sites for camping, pull through RV (recreational vehicle) sites with full hook ups, and private cabins for overnight lodging accommodations. Our new Visitor's Center houses a store and gift shop.

The main attraction here is the hot springs open to daily visitors and included for overnight guests. Springs are clean and well kept, most of the staff quite nice about strict policies. Some pools are clothing optional, others clothing required, pool temperatures are nicely varied and well regulated. Nice tent sites and RV sites go from good to downright funky, with some clothing optional and all frequented by the population of feral cats. Cabins are also available, no WiFi, but good Verizon signal. The evening pools are filled with great travel suggestions from local patrons with nothing to hide. I've been here several times and will return.
