Yellowstone National Park

We've started our adventures in the nation's first national park.  Russ spent 38 years with the National Park Service, but never made it to the "grand daddy of them all."  We're going to share some photos and stories as we explore this incredible landscape.

Yellowstone NP is over two million acres, so we won't see most of it.  But the park is accessible to primary features.  Our first day we headed for the Upper and Midway Geyser Basins on the west side of the park.  Almost immediately the "WOW factor" started as the small geysers, hot pools, and mud pots were seen.
