Our first time here was for the Rainbow RV event for Pride in the Pines. We had a great time and were very impressed with the staff and facilities at this KOA. The Manager went out of her way to make us all feel welcome - including hanging a very large Gay flag from the campground's flagpole.

The Flagstaff KOA is a beautiful mountain campground set at 7000 feet among tall ponderosa pine trees at the base of the San Francisco Peaks. We offer free Wi-Fi, 50 amp, RV patio sites, new big-rig friendly RV sites, authentic teepee's, deluxe cabins with bathrooms & linens, rustic camping cabins, tent sites, cable TV, laundry facilities, clean restrooms and showers, on-site groceries and souvenirs, banana bike rentals and so much more!

From Memorial Day to Labor Day we have free barrel train rides for the kids (weather permitting), escorts to your site, free family movie nights, open recreation in our "korral" with billiards and foosball, sporting events by satellite on our plasma TV and a kamp kitchen making breakfast every morning. We are only 2 miles from the Flagstaff Aquaplex Indoor Water park.

Located off Route 66, The Flagstaff KOA is just an hour from the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, an hour and a half from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, 99 miles from the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert, two hours from Lake Powell and 30 minutes from Meteor Crater, Walnut Canyon and Native American Ruins. We have free concierge service, tours leaving from our campground and a friendly, knowledgeable staff to make sure your vacation is the trip of a lifetime!

We needed to escape the heat of Phoenix for a couple of weeks and immediately thought of the Flagstaff KOA. Once again, the staff went out of their way to make our stay more pleasant. The sites are close together and are dirt/rock. The utilities are well located and in very good condition. The included cable TV offer 96 channels (not the usual 10 or so offered by most campgrounds). The KOA is conveniently located to shopping, the Grand Canyon, Sedona (1/2 hour away) and all the beauty of Northern Arizona.

We've already made arrangements for a longer stay next summer.

Recently spent two nights at this KOA to escape the desert heat and this was our first stay. This is a very nice rustic park with appropriate amenities and beautiful scenery. Across the street from shopping and very convenient! Will stay here again but will reserve a site at the outer edge of park for more privacy and no traffic noise. You do hear traffic noise if at a site close to office or along major road.

While the pull thru spaces are tighter than most, the grounds are clean and well kept. If you have a large rig I would recommend a spotter as you navigate to your assigned spot. Tree limbs overhang the roads throughout the park and can easily damage your roof or sidewall. The park is located close to town, but is close to good trailheads.

Nice 2 day stop while traveling through to the national park circuit in the state. Tighter then most for larger MoHo's or at least getting to our site was (trees on both sides with very little room for mistakes). Very nice staff and full of info when prompted. Our site was on a corner and near full time residents? Nice people more the willing to answer every stupid tourist question thrown their way. Loved the tawdry adventures of a fellow male camper. He was working the fact he had time to kill before his wife showed up. Entertained us all through cocktail hour. A bonus we would have paid extra for. We'd skip this KOA in favor of other choices in the area next time. To close to neighboring housing developments for our liking.
