Okay Parkers Resort is the kind of place you make sure you have a water filter inline before hooking it up. 30 AMP power is a stretch, so NO A/C or HEAT PUMP use at any time. If it's hot, fire up your trusty genset. If its cold, make sure you have LPG to run your 12 volt heating unit. NO sewer hook-ups but a dump station on the grounds if I remember right (ask before hand). Gray water issues? As long as you don't use any GRAY WATER chemicals you may water the ivy plants. Got the picture now?

Free-flow camping at it's finest. Your pets can run free here. But you better keep it cleaned up or you'll get yelled at from fellow campers (as you should)! Have friends who like TENT camping? Perfect place for you both to go. They allow tents too. If you can do without the umbilical cord there are some very nice river view sites under large trees for both RV's and Tents.

A funky, clean, fun place to hang out while all the others get crazy at the bars across the river. You can have your cake and eat it too. Walking distance to everything gay Guerneville, Ca. has to offer while still being far enough away, to get away from it all. Safeway food store in town is well stocked and clean.

Rates run just under 40 bucks a night for RV's and just under 30 bucks for tenting types per night. Come on, it's across the river from Gay town USA! But also understand there are some rednecks running around who just don't get it. So be mind-full (smart) late at night. Traveling in groups is always best late at night anywhere. Day time is very safe and night will be also in numbers. But throw a few beers into a redneck's rather small brain, and will you get my drift.

Go for it next time you're in the area. You'll be glad you did. Don't forget to bring your old washing machine tub (used as fire pit) and fire wood to enjoy the night with good friends.

Enjoy

NO dump station, so use your own facilities sparingly. Clean restroom/shower onsite (1) sites are not paved, it's just a big lawn.(it rained the last night we stayed, and I needed my 4 wheel drive to get out)Also, on that note, the grass is somewhat uneven, and it can be difficult to level your rig/trailer. It appears it used to be quite nice in it's heyday, but has been neglected. The new bathrooms are adequate, but I can see them becoming overwhelmed if it gets crowded. The entrance is easy to miss, and GPS/Navigation sent us astray. (look for the green metal gate) The 30Amp worked fine, the water was a bit far away, so I needed my long hose. The Eagle closed in town, but the Rainbow Cattle Co. is still going strong. 3R ranch has re-opened, and is under new ownership.
