Beautiful State Park facility not far from Palm Springs or LA area. Lots of things to do - camp, fish, walk, hike, bike, hunt, swim, boating, waterski, tour a musuem, etc.
We've camped here several times and have enjoyed the grass, trees and great weather. The sites are medium - their website lists the max. RV size as 31 feet for a site. However, they told me you can back in, overhang and as long as the front of your vehicle doesn't stick out onto the road, they don't care. Their website does list the overall max RV at 40'. Our rig is 35' and we had no issues backing in and staying off the road each time. Measure from the back of your tires to the front of your rig to see what length that is to determine if you'll fit. Bring lots of leveling blocks.
You can combine RVs and tents on the same sites. 2 vehicles per site, no overflow parking in the campground. You can't leave extra vehicles in the day use area overnight. Each RV site has water, 30 amp and 110v outlets and sewer for GRAY water only. A dump site is available onsite.
There is a small store right on the lake and you can rent boats by the hour. They have a very nice day use area for picnics, BBQs and swimming. If you camp there you can have your friends come and spend the day in the day use area.
Some local TV channels were available over the air with a converter box.
