Okay this is park is ONLY for overnight stays when you have to have a place to stay with hook-ups.

You enter on Ethan way and go till the road ENDS. Do ya think they tell you this? NO WAY NO HOW! Look up Ethan way on your GPS. If you don't, only address listed will place you into the Cal Expo main parking lot! Not where you need to be!

The manager is a nasty pile-o-pooh. The park itself sucks as in asphalt and gravel sites with few trees, if any. Sites are NOT level.

The fact this RV park could have been something to write home about had someone (anyone) had the foresight to plan it out right. Really a last resort (family member in hospital)?

A far,far better choice would be a tad bit farther out of the way. KOA in West Sacramento off I-80 by Harbor Blvd.

You've been warned...

Stayed here in July of 2008 over July 4th Weekend. It was just over 100 degrees so we mostly stayed indoors in the daytime. We'd just picked up a new RV from DeMartini and wanted to test out all systems before driving home - we tested the AC for sure! This park has two areas: one is sloping asphalt parking lot with a few trees scattered around. The other, back area, is level gravel with no trees at all. The back area may be better for most - at least it's level, and probably marginally more secure.

While the park has no, repeat, no, amenities or other redeeming values, it is a full hookup campground pretty much in the middle of Sacramento. There's access to the bike path along the American River. And it's next to CalExpo if you're going to an event there. Since we were there over July 4th, we had a front row seat for the HUGE fireworks display they have at CalExpo. It was great to see all the July 4th decorations folks had for their rigs, and all the children who loved the fireworks.

This may also be a good park for folks passing through. Many stores and shops nearby if you need to provision your rig.
