Stay here every year in a 5th wheel with slides. I have seen big rigs, in the back in sites as the pull thru sites, which are limited. They have a full hookup area for those needing it, and a honey wagon that is weekly by appointment and at an additional cost. Some sites are level paved sites, some are a dirt, all have 30 AMP, and cable TV. you can fill your water tanks in the campground at the non-full hookup sites from a hose bib, just make sure you disconnect it after your filled as they are community faucets. They allow dogs to swim in the lake, people swimming, have a small library/book exchange, boat ramp and boat trailer parking area. The bathrooms and showers are clean, as is the rest of the campground. It is a private campground, and Staff is friendly. If you are planning to stay here, I highly recommend reservations, which are first come, first served as the campground is usually booked during the summer months. The Staff is helpful if you need anything.
The campground was built in 1963 by Southern California Edison on the western shores of Shaver Lake, California. We have 252 campsites complete with electricity, free cable television and limited high speed Internet Access.
