This San Diego beach features swimming, surfing, skin diving, fishing and picnicking. The large bluff-top campground is very popular, especially in summer. Stairs lead to the beach.

The views from this State Park make it for spectacular Sunsets.  Campfires at night make it comfortable and warm as your roasting marshmallows.  If you have a Rig of 40ft, it’s worth it to lie to the attendant and tell them your rig is 35ft. because the vistas at this Park are that good.

The rates range from $20-$25 but be sure to call ahead of time.

Love coming here, EXCEPT you have to make your reservations 6 months in advance at 8 am SHARP or all the beach side places are gone (which are the best sites). It's a mad dash for the peak summer months to try and get a place. A lot of the sites will accommodate 2 rigs. Totally dry campling!
