South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Valley Campground
Nice, clean, quiet, close  to Lake, access to Public, Private Owned. space = $ 50 per night.
Now, would have preferred a State Park space on the LAKE, but since most State park spaces
are reserved and full, this private campground had many available sites under the Valley pines to

accommodate our LAST minute decision to visit the Lake Tahoe area.  (over 200 sites total).

Shuttle ran regular times on the hour to Calif and Nevada part of S.L.T. town.

Big Bear Lake - Serrano Federal Campground
One of the most beautiful Southern California mountain destinations, the Serrano Federal Campground offers full hookup sites in the Snowberry Loop (Sites 35 through 64).  Each site is very large and has indivual fire rings and picnic tables.  Great hiking right from the Park, the Discovery Nature Center is walking distance, boat ramps, boat rentals and shopping at small botique stores in the town of Big Bear.  Also many resturants ranging from drive through to sit-down.  Reservations at recreation.gov, suggest book as early as possible due to popularity.  Sites may be reserved beginning six months in advance of the desired arrival date.

Anza Borrego Desert State Park
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is the largest state park in California. Five-hundred miles of dirt roads, 12 wilderness areas and miles of hiking trails provide visitors with an unparalleled opportunity to experience the wonders of the California Desert.  To get there you don’t need to ride on dirt roads its all paved.  The Park just recently went under some pavement renovation and added new RV Pads for larger Rigs.

If you like the Desert Wilderness with spectacular vistas and great hiking trails then this Park is for you and our RRV members.  This State park accommodates all genres of camping vehicles; tents, TT’s, class C’s, & Class A RV’s.  The best times to visit is right in the Spring April months and view the spectacular foliage that comes to bloom.  The Desert Night skies light up with shooting stars.  I Can’t say enough of this true get-away of a Wilderness Gem.

Redwoods RV Resort & Campground

The Redwoods RV Resort is set in a grove of mature redwood trees in the majestic Redwood Forest of California. Shade is no problem here, friends. Experience the thrill of RV, tent & cabin camping under a canopy of soaring redwood trees, plus spruce, hemlock, and Douglas firs, which tower over the berry bushes and sword ferns below. Sunnier spots are home to the Columbia Lily, also known as the Tiger Lily. Here, Steller's jays, ravens and even the occasional endangered marbled murrelet flit between the trees while toads & frogs (including the endangered northern red-legged frog) chirp peacefully along the edges of pristine waters.  This truly is a magnificent  RV Campground.
