With so many activities available, visitors may choose to stay a few days at the campground. Pine-covered dunes are the setting for over 150 sites, most with a water hookup. Camping is available from March 1 through November 30.

You may make a reservation up to 7 months or as little as 1 day in advance of your visit. To assure availability and the best available site, reservations are strongly recommended.

Delaware State Parks have a great deal to offer in activities and camping. Take your vacation along the coast, amid towering trees, near a freshwater pond, or enjoy the scenery of rolling sand dunes and sparkling bay waters.

All of the campgrounds provide drinking water outlets, modern shower and sanitary facilities, and sewage dumping stations. Campsites are equipped with a picnic table and may include a fire ring (campfire regulations). Many have electric and water hookups.

During the summer season and in high-use areas like Delaware Seashore and Cape Henlopen State Parks, campers should register for the entire length of their stay, up to 14 days.
