Natural Bridge State Resort Park is home to one of the
largest natural arches in the state, and there are hundreds
of arches within 10 miles of the park’s namesake.
Surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest and
adjacent to the Red River Gorge Geologic Area, Natural
Bridge State Resort Park includes an incredibly diverse
Nature Preserve, over 20 miles of hiking trails, and
spectacular scenery in every season.

Camping
Enjoy the great outdoors in two campgrounds that provide
87 sites with utilities. Primitive campsites are also
available for those who desire to “rough it”. Dump
stations and two central service buildings with rest
rooms and showers are furnished for your convenience.

Cottages
Step out of your cottage into the beautiful ambiance of the
surrounding forest. The seven one-bedroom and four twobedroom
cottages offer peaceful solitude and all the comforts
of home. Tableware, cooking utensils, and linens are
provided, with fresh linens available daily. Cottages are
available by late afternoon, check out by 11 am.

Hemlock Lodge
Delight in the beauty of a lodge nestled in the mountainside.
The 35 rooms feature private balconies overlooking the pool
complex and Hoedown Island Lake. For the perfect memento
of your visit, browse the lodge gift shop featuring a large
selection of Kentucky handcrafts. Rooms are available by
late afternoon, check out by noon, Eastern Time.

Sandstone Arches Restaurant
Enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings as you dine on
a variety of contemporary American cuisine. The restaurant
overlooks the famous “Hoedown Island,” which has been
designated as the clogging capitol of Kentucky. Seating for
175 people is available as well as a private dining area.

Hiking Trails & Naturalist Programs
Over twenty miles of trails on the park’s 2,300 wooded
acres, which are linked to the Red River Gorge trail system
by sections of the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation
Trail. No pets on the trails or in the woods. Full-time
naturalists program events and activities year round

Hoedown Island & Nature Store (seasonal)
An open-air dance patio for weekly square dances, located
on the lake below the lodge. The Nature Store offers unique
gifts to explore the wonders of nature.



Sky Lift & Gift Shop (seasonal)
The sky lift ride begins one-half mile from the park entrance
and will take you within 600 feet of the Natural Bridge.

Swimming Pool Complex (seasonal)
Pool features a sloped entrance, directional water jets, floor
bubblers, and wading pool for children.

General public: $4 per adult, $3 per child daily. FREE to lodge and cottage guests.

Recreation Opportunities (seasonal)
18-hole miniature golf course, pedal boats, picnic shelters,
playground.
