Camping Sites

Each of our sites are landscaped with a grassy area and decorative rock around the site connections. Each site has a paved patio with a picnic table. All sites are full hook-up with 30-50 amp electric, water, sewer and cable TV. All of our sites are approximately 35 feet wide allowing plenty of room for slide-outs and awnings over the large patios and picnic tables. In our Premium sites we offer 100 amp electric service in two 50 amp outlets as well as a 30 amp outlet. The Premium sites are 80 feet long and have a cement sidewalk to access the picnic table area, accommodating the largest RVs. Our pull thru-sites are 70 feet long with full hook-ups. Our 45-foot deep back-in sites back up to the Gallatin National Forest.

Each of our tent sites has a charcoal BBQ grill and picnic table. The tent sites are located close to our Clubhouse for access to the restroom and showers and outdoor kitchen sinks.

Okay lets face facts here kids. This isn't known for being the most gay friendly state around. But I'd have to say; our group of 5 MoHo's and 10 gay men didn't have one issue durning our travels through this State.

Finding a tour guide service with a gay person as our group leader wasn't as tough as I thought it would be. I was honest about being gay men and wanting a tour guide who was gay friendly. So with this said we used West Yellowstone tour service in the town of West Yellowstone. We had of course our own 12 passenger wide-body van. Our guide was a lesbian! OMG we had such a blast on our two day private tour of both upper and lower Yellowstone park. Pricey yes... Hard to place a price on laughter and great times throughout 2 days of touring Yellowstone park. Okay so we didn't want to be packed in a 60 passenger bus with other tourists either. We have our standards, as low as they may be ;o)

Okay back to the RV park. Very nice with wide open spaces with grass and trees throughout. Make no mistake this is a kid friendly park. But they have an adult section and that's where we stayed. Great RV park for being near to town and the West Yellowstone park entrance.

Wow! What a great place. It is just outside the West Gate to the park and right on the edge of town (West Yellowstone). Everything is clean and well-kept, plenty of stores for supplies within blocks. There are a number of hiking trails at the edge of the resort where you can walk your dogs. It's quite a large place with lots of sites. I'd recommend camping after June 10th and before the end of September. Otherwise the weather can be (and usually is) miserable.

Compared to the many resorts we have in Southern California, the price we paid for the amenities offered was a bargain. Naturally, you can stay in many primitive campgrounds inside the Park or nearby, but sometimes the comfort and security of a well managed campground with full hook ups is a relief, especially with pets.

Speaking of which, don't even think of taking them into the Park. Too many bears and other animals (including people). They'll be much happier and safer at (RV) home. You'll be in and out of your vehicle all day and traffic congestion at an animal sighting is no place for a dog.

Just spent 4 nights here while we explored Yellowstone. Park is very nice, well maintained with clean bathroom/shower facilities. A few short blocks to shopping, restaurants, etc. Great overall location!
