Oregon Campgrounds

Centrally located in Klamath Falls, this campground is the perfect jump-off spot to visit spectacular Crater Lake National Park, Lava Beds National Monument and numerous wildlife refuges. Bike or hike along the 100-mile, rail-to-trail OC & E Woods Line State Trail. Campers can also look forward to many special events during the year, including the Kruise of Klamath and the Klamath Kinetic Challenge in June, the Klamath County Fair in August and the Snowflake Festival in December. The campground's 50-amp sites can accommodate big rigs, and the grassy sites are a great respite at the end of a long day. Pool: Memorial Weekend -  Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 80 feet. Nestled in the heart of sunny central Oregon, Tumalo rests along Oregon's spectacular Deschutes River. The campground is simultaneously close enough to the town of Bend to make an quick jaunt to the grocery store, but far enough away to escape the commotion. Its location makes it an ideal stepping stone for any type of outdoor activity you could possibly dream of: lush green golf courses, clear blue-ribbon trout steams, pristine alpine lakes, miles upon miles of challenging yet scenic hiking and mountain bike trails, and of course the Cascade Mountains are all within easy reach.

Winter recreation is just up the road at Mt. Bachelor where skiers and snowboarders can experience some of the best powder in the state. If you are not fond of the lifts, there are miles of groomed Nordic trails and tons of snowy back-country areas to explore.

 

     Scandia RV Park offers an oasis in the middle of Bend, Oregon.  Plush green grass and trees provide the perfect setting to fire up the Bar-B-Q and relax or tour many area attractions.  If you prefer to take the night off from cooking, there are quite a few choices within just a short walk of the park.  We are located in the City of Bend so that you are close to the Old Mill, Old Town, Amphitheatre, the Deschutes River, as well as convenient for doing the Ale Trail.

 

     Scandia is family owned, and we welcome you as “family” for just a one night stay or to stay all summer.  Deanna and Richard, our on-site managers, provide the personal touch to make you feel welcome from the dog treats, Deanna’s candy dish, and Richard’s fresh morning coffee.  We look forward to making your stay enjoyable.

Creekside Campground is a municipal park which offers a total of 60 camp sites including 23 full hook-up sites plus a separate “hiker/biker” area.  Each site is equipped with a fire pit and a picnic table. The campground has restrooms and showers as well as an automated sewer discharge site. It is situated along Whychus Creek and within walking distance of downtown. A covered foot bridge spans the creek and leads to Creekside Park. The campground is open from May through October.
