Born in Fresno CA - spent the first 24hrs there.. so I've been told.
Raised in Hayward CA - by two loving parents in a diverse neighborhood where 10 different languages were spoken. Which I owe the fact there are NO blinders on my eyes. NO pre-judgments in my heart. Have lots of friends there. It was a great place to grow up and attend school:
Park Elementary K-> 6 Awesome time in my life! Loved being a kid! ~jump rope, tether ball, kick ball, duck duck goose, monkey bars, smear the queer, Dodge Ball ~ OMG the games we used to play.
Best of all the teachers: Almost all good memories!! Then there are the LIFE long friends. People I've known and been friends with since Kindergarten: All Y'ALL know who YOU are!! :-)
All Saints School 6 ->8 Got a GREAT education = Especially the part about being different from the RICH WHITE KIDS. Which meant you were less than ~and hated for it! WOW, so this is BIGOTRY ?
Sunset High School - Had fun, and again made wonderful life long friends! Caught back up with my buds from Park School.
Although, I wish I'd been more involved and graduated.
Cal-Trans Highway Maintenance - 20yrs. {to the day} Everything from Road Maintenance, Landscape Maintenance, Tree Crew, Raised Markers, Signs, Mud-Jacking, Plowing Snow, Emergency Tow Service, Fence, Bridge, Guardrail, and then Maintenance Supervisor in San Francisco.
All of that is another book, hopefully NEVER to be written...
