The Blue Heron RV Park features paved streets with large concrete pads and patios. All sites are full hook-up, including 20/30/50 amp electric, water and sewer. Beautiful restroom/shower/laundry facility. Most sites face the beautiful Klamath River. Really nice place to hit for a "long" weekend or while in route to somewhere else. Nice staff, no cable TV yet. Satellite worked well, but again we have latest auto HD Direct TV unit . WiFi worked great. The River is right out your front window, they even have utilities set up for forward facing. The river water is COLD but quite refreshing all the same. Everything worked as it should. Really nice place to hang out and become one with nature. Keep in mind wild horses roam the area at night. So put away what ever you don't want them getting into!
Update 10-10-09
Water is smelly, so bring drinking water with you for coffee and cooking with! Or better yet fill up at your last stop and use your onboard water tank.
Update 5-21-10
A friend asked me why I didn't list the 2 lane road getting here as "rough" and "tight". Okay, so I did miss that! But really not enough to keep me or others away. Yes, a few tight hair-pin turns. However you can see traffic ahead so not an issue in my book. Yes, road has a few pot holes. But again, easy to steer around. Heck I-80 in the SF bay area is worse ;o)
Enjoy
