air parking brake test
A good artical Im a heavy truck mechanic and drove OTR for 25 years as a owner operator hauling heavy equipment A good thing to add is make sure they are well greased and are relesing too a dragging brake will eventully get hot enough to catch fire and burn your coach down Auto slack adjusters are a so so thing when they work they are good but when not they are a pain we cheak them often some times they get rust in em and quit working I took them off of my mack cabover I use to pull my 5th wheel went back to the old style I just cheak them more often. Find out witch type of brake chamber your rig uses (long or short stroke) stop by a heavy truck parts house sutch as fleet pride NAPA ect and buy a spare one and carry it they are $45.00 there and on the road $100.00 Ive heard horror storys of $400.00 repair bills by shops to change one out on the road !!! be safe dave
