This is a clean, friendly LGBT-owned campground in a truly spectacularly beautiful location. They have full hookups on level, graveled sites, and also rent small cabins and glamping tents. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the place is neat as a pin. But the real reason to go is to be in nature. From here there are miles of hiking trails in the Umpqua River Gorge, taking you to natural waterfalls, hot springs and lakes. An easy day trip to snow in winter months! The campground is surrounded by pristine old-growth evergreen forests and sits on the edge of a beautiful turquoise river. It's just breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful here.

Bear in mind there is no cell service in this area; the campground offers access to their satellite internet hookup for a modest upcharge. They do not have laundry facilities on-site. This is also far from restaurants and shops (there is a tiny grocery next door with a few staples) so plan accordingly.
