Sea Cliff State Park
Got to love a beach front anything! And this place is just that. OMG it takes an act of God to get into the full hook-up sites (30 amp water sewer 40 foot max $70 bucks), but one can most times get into the "overflow" dry camping areas ($50 bucks) via a lottery held at noon. They have changed these sites to now include big rigs up to 45 foot (used to be 34 foot max) The web-site has not been updated to reflect this as of this review, so typical of the California State park system.

Thank goodness the old manager is gone! The new one is GREAT and very nice. This place is first come first served. So it would be best to get here early so you get a space. Parking your rig gets tough when the park is full.

Great wooded campsite - lots of oak trees.  Bogart Park isn't far from Oak Glen - the home of apples -- cider, pies, shopping, etc.

Stayed here in Oct 2010 while attending Gay Days Anaheim -- AKA Disneyland.  The park is about 2 blocks from Disneyland's front entrance - an easy walk.  Very clean park.

Camp Edison - Shaver lake
Stay here every year in a 5th wheel with slides. I have seen big rigs, in the back in sites as the pull thru sites, which are limited.  They have a full hookup area for those needing it, and a honey wagon that is weekly by appointment and at an additional cost. Some sites are level paved sites, some are a dirt, all have 30 AMP, and cable TV.  you can fill your water tanks in the campground at the non-full hookup sites from a hose bib, just make sure you disconnect it after your filled as they are community faucets.  They allow dogs to swim in the lake, people swimming, have a small library/book exchange, boat ramp and boat trailer parking area.  The bathrooms and showers are clean, as is the rest of the campground. It is a private campground, and Staff is friendly. If you are planning to stay here, I highly recommend reservations, which are first come, first served as the campground is usually booked during the summer months. The Staff is helpful if you need anything.
