Camp Kamp
First Time RV Owners
Well we finally did it, we bought our very first RV! We settled on a 30' travel trailerWe finally did it, we bought our very first RV! We bought a 30' Surveyor Select by Foerst River. We figured our first RV should be travel trailer so we can park and still have our truck. It is probably a little too big for our first RV but we fell in love with the spacious living area and bathroom. We pick up the RV on Tuesday and that afternoon, we will have our first experience in backing up the trailer into our driveway! I am a little nervous about that but, my husband, Donald, is going to have to do all the driving. I'll let you all know how it goes!
In the meantime, I just registered us for the Paso Robles trip in August, Pismo Beach in September, and Palm springs in November. That gives me a few weeks to get the trailer ready to travel! So much to buy!

Congratulations, hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed my motorhomes.
Congratulations! You will love camping in style!
How very exciting for the both of you. As you know, many of us are happy to support what ever you need. Remember one thing. Take your time with it, don't be in any hurry, and double check all your procedures. Let the fun begin.
Our best,
Larry and Steve
See you in Pismo!
Congrats! I still remember our first RV, and the fun we had traveling around. There is so much to see out there, and so little time to see it in. Safe travels.
Congratulations, you are going to love your new RV. Look forward to meeting you in Pismo!
Congrats! I just got my first RV myself.. have been out in it once and looking forward to my next trip for sure. Hopefully get to meet you all in Pismo. I have been around them all my life but am glad to have my own now.
Congratulations! We've just purchased our first travel trailer, too ... however, we thought a used one might be more practical for our first Full-Time experiences. There's so much to learn.
While it all sounds extremely romantic, we want to make sure we're making sound decisions. We've been offered our first volunteer position in Texas for the US Army Corps of Engineers (Benbrook Lake - South of Fort Worth) for the coming 2013/2014 Fall/Winter season, and have started looking at the Pacific NW for Spring/Summer 2014, hopefully we can plan for some Rainbow RV gatherings as well.
Enjoy your adventures! The possibilities are endless!
Safe journeys!
